Soilse, pronounced SULL-shuh ("Sull" rhymes with gull), is an Irish Gaelic word, and the meaning includes light and illumination.

Her sire's kennel name, Éilís, pronounced AY-leesh, includes the meaning, Word of God.

Of course, the Word of God must include all the beautiful qualities connected with light and illumination!

This certainly reveals something about the very nature of an Irish Wolfhound, of the very hound himself.  And  the "Hound Himself"  is the meaning of  the kennel name, Cú Féin.
